The Perfect Relationship...
By Gina D.
What is a perfect relationship? Are you in a perfect relationship? Do you know what a perfect relationship is? For starter's Im sure we all have in mind what type of man or woman appeals to us. In a relationship, these are some of the qualities we may look for. They are honesty, integrity, respect, values, morales, good communication, fidelity, compassion, sensitivity, and a good sense of humor. I'm sure you can probably add a few other things to this list. If you find a partner with 6 or more of these qualities, you'd better hang on to them. Im sure that finding a good man or woman these days is getting harder and harder..... Have you given much thought to past and present relationships? Do we keep making the same mistakes over and over again? Are you carrying old baggage into a new relationship? If so, your limiting yourself from having a happy, healthy and loving relationship. If you don't let go and are still fighting demons from past relationships, you are only hurting yourself and your new partner. Give your partner a chance to show you who they really are. Don't judge them or compare them to someone from your past. The only way you can let go of the past is to forgive and put whatever heartache's you've been thru in the past. Then just move on to enjoy the good life that God blessed you to have. So open your heart and don't be afraid to express and show your love and feelings to your partner. Im sure your partner is just as afraid of getting hurt as you are. So quit wasting time....Who knows, the man or woman of your dreams may be right in front of you, just waiting for you to wake up so you can both begin your journey to enjoy the beautiful life that you both deserve. So love and be loved. You'll be happy you did..... |

Thank you for the kind comment. I have no problem following you, and your welcome Ian. I would appreciate it if you would follow me in return. Thanks, Gina
Sad are those who continually pine for what they don't have in the current relationship. Happy are those who can see what they do have and build on that. GrumpyOldTrucker

I love that saying. Well said......
Glad to have caught up with your superb Intel, which I missed first time around; I related to so much of what you said. The prime quality that I would specify for both partners is a "willing spirit".

Thanks for the kind words Roy. Having a willing spirit is a must.
After repeated conflicts, commitment can seem more like a trap than a trust. In effect, “till death do us part” becomes little more than a cold contract .. one that the mates wish had loopholes. You have given some sound suggestions for keeping a relationship happy.
